The CEO Stu Levy made claims recently at Anime LA that his company Tokyopop never went bankrupt or disappeared, but instead a virtual company until it could rebuild. Rebuild it did, as its site Tokyopop.com returned and no longer redirects to the company's Facebook page. Tweet blogging of what was said at the Anime LA Tokyopop panel can be found on Anime Diet.

I had a bit of a hard time getting to that page because there's something on it that makes Safari crash from memory leak problems. I can't say I'm interested in this news since I don't wish to buy anything from them until they start finishing what manga they've dropped.

It will be a matter of time until they pick up new license and till their books are found in bookstores. At the moment they're on Rightstuf and other online places as stated by Brigid at Manga Blog.
