The US military decided to get a manga created to show the importance of America's military presence in Japan. Usa-kun visits Japan and stays at the home of a girl named Arai Anzu. Each chapter focuses on something different about the real life alliance between the two countries and there are a couple wordy pages in those chapters that go into detail.

Our Alliance - A Lasting Partnership is crazy cute, but it gets clear quickly that this manga has an agenda. There's already fan art on Pixiv and an English scanlation group already on this. Regardless, I want Usa-kun's hoodie.

The only advantage to military occupation I see is that I can take a free cargo flight to Japan using only my Geneva Convention Identification. Yes, emphasis on free.

FREE. FREEE!
