I don't usually like Japanese music, but sometimes I do.

Interesting finds there and the first one is gaming. You never talk much about music that isn't Japanese.

Well I tried once, until I realized that people don't give a shit about what real music I listen to unless it's got some high-pitched Japanese skank dancing to it in a maid outfit. But since you care so much, I'm currently into Crooked Still, Bard (Second Moon), Machinae Supremacy and other regular pop music like Trapt, Hurt, Avenged Sevenfold, The Cardigans, OSI and Eisley.

But for now, I'm listening to random Japanese doujin music because I find it to be much better than most of the hack shit you find on Japanese airwaves. Given that, there's only three Japanese vocalists that I consider having a good singing voice. Note that by this I mean that Japanese people can't sing, but I might consider these three as near-exceptions: YUI, Hajime Chitose (on a good day), and YUKI. Though lately YUI's songs really blow and it's no better than that Tommy Heavenly crap.

Japanese music is good for a nice headache.

Perhaps I'm going insane, but my love for Sound Horizon's been reawakened after I downloaded Akiko Shikata's album, Harmonia. It's strange how that works out.

In other news, BLANKFIELD's back with a new mini-album.

And if you're bored, check out Pizuya's Cell x MyonMyon:

Resurrection Ballad: http://www.mediafire.com/?emnut1dtmtx
Nuclear Blast: http://www.mediafire.com/?md5jakmmymw

And some of the vocal arrangements from this Minstrel circle isn't bad either.

Ankimo's vocalist is getting on my nerve, but their instrumentals are great. It almost makes me want to see them in real life, though I know they're either fat or ugly. What a sad sad world we live in.
