If two consonants are in succession that means its a shortened sound. Here's the vowels:
a always sounds like the a in ma
i as in eat
u as in food
e as in enter
o as in oh

A----------------------------------

Atashi- the most female way to say "I"
are- that over there! something far away.
Ashi-feet
aruku/arukimasu- to walk
Asoko- over there
Ai basically means love, but in most cases it's used in titles (shounen ai, etc.) and not between people.
A hito is a person. Anohito, that person over there.

B----------------------------------

Boken- Adventure
baiku- motorcycle
basu- bus
Boku also means I (masculine)

C----------------------------------

Consaato-concert
Cho- they are towns withing each "ku"
Chome- a small district in tokyo.
chikatetsu-subway
-chan is for very little kids or girls


D----------------------------------

Dooshita - whats wrong
Dakara - thats why
Dekimasu means can do. Dekiru is the shorter form of saying can do and dekinai means can't do.
Dame - bad/not good/can't be done
Demo means but, like i was going to do this, but...
Desu and da mean is, soo mean so. Da is the impolite form.
Doko- where am I?
densha-electric train
Doku- Where

E- say this after stating a place to state that it is a location. like "Tokyo E ikimashita"
Eiga- movie
Eigakan- movie theater
"ee" is the informal way of saying yes or its an expression of disbelief, depending on the context.

Gakkoo - school (The oo is like in oh and not oo as in food)

H-----------------------------------

Honto - really? honestly?
Hohoemu - smile

Hashiru/hashirimasu- to run
Higashi- east
Hai means yes and iie means no.
Hitori means alone and hitoride means by means of alone.
Hikari - light

Ikimasu- present tense of anything related to we go/she goes/he goes.
Idoru- idol, like hina from love hina.
Ikuzo is the impolite male way of saying ikimasu yo or ikimashoo yo! which means lets go.
Iku is the impolite way of saying go. The female way is ikuwayo. Morrigan from Darkstalkers says ikuwayo.

Ja nai is the opposite of da. Ja nai means is not, or are not.

Koroshi - kill
Kachi means win. Like Kyo from King of Fighters said "Ore no kachi da" this is my win.
Kaizoku- Pirate!!
Ken- Sword
Kuku- Airport
Kofu- Terror
kore- something closer to you.
sore- something closer to the person you are speaking too.
ka- add this to the end of the sentence to make it a question.
Kisha- a steam engine
Kuruma- a car
Kara- the origin of something
kita-north
koko-where you are right now
Kouban- a police place
Kisama is the most impolite way of addressing someone, kind of like "bastard" or "scum"
The words ko or kodomo means child.
Kimi is you. Boku and kimi tend to go together. Me / you, respectively
Kite (key-TEH) means to come.
Kono anime wa omoshiroi da yo - This anime is interesting!
Kaze - wind
Kawaii - cute
Kirei - pretty
Kowai - scary (Usually girls say those things)
kaku/kakimasu- to write
-kun is for boys *there title when you are polite or not a good friend*
Kore means this and sore means that.
Kore de saigo da - by means of this, it will be the end
Koi means come or come on, you hear people use that as a taunt.
Kono means this. Sono means that.
Kono hito - this person.
Ku- they are like 23 areas, but they are big enough to be there own city's.
Kana- shelf
Kami - God or gods. Can also be used for spirits or unnatural beings.

Noroi- Curse
Having ne at the end of sentences means isnt it, doesnt he, wont she, etc.

O-----------------------------------

Oden- a type of meal
Oshi-Iri =closset
Otoo-san means father and okaa-san mother.
Onii-san is older brother, onee-san is older sister.
Omoshiroi - interesting
Okane- money
ongaku- Music
Odoru/odorimasu- to dance
Omae is an impolite way of saying you. Anata is the polite way.
Ore is the impolite way of saying I. Watashi is the polite way.

Shinnen- New years, in japan it is huge!
The suffix -san is polite way of saying Mr. -sama means god, or a highly respected master/professor.
Shimpai means worry, as in shimpai shinai "don't worry"
suwaru/suwarimasu- to sit
shinkansen- bullet train
Suteki - amazing or wonderful
Sugee or sugoi means great or amazing.
Sono - that
Saigo means end, or last.
Sono hito - that person.
Soshite - furthermore
Suru at the end of sentences means to do. Benkyoo suru means will/do study.
Shiawase - happiness
Shimatta - damn it
Soo desu ka? -or- soo da ne? - is that so? really?
Sankyuu and arigatoo both mean thank you, sankyuu is just them trying to imitate English.

Takushii-taxi, but from what i hear they are nice people but are a little expensive.
Tsumaranai - boring
Tomodachi - friend
Tansu- a cabinet
tatami- it is a type of floor in traditional japanese houses.
tenjou- Cieling
taberu/tabemasu- to eat
tatsu/tachimasu- to stand
Tenshi - angel
Tachi means people. Like anatatachi or omaetachi means you people.
Tasukete - help
Tatakai - fight

Umi- a large body of ocean would best describe it.
Uta- song
Utao- to sing

Watashtachi - we
Wa- states the topic of the sentence.
Wakarimasu means to understand. More commonly said wakata, or wakateru. The r's are all rolled. so ru sounds like rlu.

Yuki Ga Furu- "It's snowing!"
yomu/yomimasu- to read
Yo means its an exclamation. At end of sentences.
Yane- your roof
Yuka- the floor.

Zanzen datta na means isnt that unfortunate/thats too bad/what a pity.
