KBS will hold a business briefing announcing the new joint Korean and Japanese production on the forthcoming "Taichi Senjimon " animation in Seoul on March 14th. KBS, Iconics Entertainment, DONGSEO University, JM Animation and Toei Animations will participate as business partners on the project. Iconics Entertainment will handle the domestic and foreign licensing business, the full foreign sales and promotion strategy will also be announced. Current plans are to elevate Taichi Senjimon to a property with global distribution. For the South Korean launch, related merchandise such as cards, games, live action performances, toys and publishing have been confirmed. The plot follows an action phantasy storyline with builtin "chinese style characters" (widely known throughout many Asian countries) and card-fighting conepts. Broadcast debut via KBS 1TV is set for April 14th. Toei is referring to Taichi Senjimon as part of its "50th Anniversary" Commemoration Business".

Card game and everything. With it being possible to have it popular in Japan and Korea, it could come elsewhere. Though, it'll likely end up like BeyBlade. It's a Toei work, so don't expect too much. Story information hasen't been given out.

If it comes to america and somehow becomes the next yugioh or something, it may give me an excuse to get back into trading cards... but I doubt that'll happen...

Doesn't look like my cup of tea but it could be...

It does look like it'll be largely based on action scenes though.

You know how anime gets fansubbed? If someone ever tells you that all anime gets funsubbed, they're wrong. Nobody subs kids shows or nearly unknown anime. Or old stuff...useally.
