Blade is that series of American vampire slaying movies that tend to be pretty cheesy. A lot of these are pretty ridiculous with stories about breasts and the pornography industry. There is a new Appleseed series and the return of Blood: The Last Vampire with Blood-C by CLAMP. My bet those will be the two that will either make it big or at least become licensed.

Feel free to post news or trailers of these as they come out.

I'm hyped for Appleseed and Blood C...

I watched all of Blood+ and enjoyed most parts of it.

But I really dug the style of Blood: The Last Vampire, so I think this can be x100 better! I can't wait.

I'm having a hard enough time as it is keeping up with this season's anime. I definitely don't have time to bother with summer's lineup. But if I do find time, I'll probably focus on two titles: Natsume Yuujinchou and the Food Network.

I started reading the Nekogami Yaoyorozu manga about a year ago... and I'm surprised it's getting animated this quickly. It's not great, but it's not bad. I definitely think it has its high points. But I'm biased because I like anything dealing with the metaphysical (though flesh-and-blood gods kind of moots that description).

Overall, I don't care to see an anime.

Towa no Quon looks like an old era anime with the character with bows shot all over in him, but the anime trailer looks modern day with some futuristic armored battles. It's going to be a movie that will premire in Japan June 18th. Official website is towanoquon.com and the trailer is bellow.

This movie is going to have six parts, so good luck to them to keep people's attention that long. It's a limited release to five cities. Production is by BONES and is directed by Umanosuke Iida, an anime director who passed away late last year (another director helped to finish this it seems). His biggest past work would be Hellsing.

Quon doesn't seem too bad. But since I'm not in Japan, this must mean I'll have to wait a year before I can watch it.

Guilty Crown has an awesome looking and easy to navigate site, even it it takes quite a while to load with its heavy Flash.
http://www.guilty-crown.jp/

The site acts as one page and the navigation on the side still takes you where you want to go. Very clean and very minimalist.
