It has better art, and 1000 more cards then the others. my brother played Magic, and it was boring as hell. He made me play against him, against my will.

I am wanting to start playing again on msn. So if anyone wants to challenge me to Yu-Gi-Oh I will accept.

Endless combos, life, mill, damage, creatures, and such. I don't see how Magic can be boring unless you are playing with an odd deck or a first turn kill thing. o.o

I would try Magic the Gathering but I don't really have enough money right now to keep buying new cards and such.

Personally I prefer Yugioh over MTG. Also with YVD I am liking Yugioh even more xD.

Boring as hell? I find the ability to play almost any card for little to nothing makes Yu-Gi-Oh boring.

Favorite Colors: All of them.
Favorite Blocks: All of them :P
Favorite Style: ... All of them...
Favorite Block: Legacy.
Other: My Aluren deck = wub. It can win on turn two if I'm really, really lucky... Though I normally end up pulling fourth or fifth turn wins consistently.

Don't get me wrong, I mean, the game looks awesome and everything is cool and all, but there where three factors that made it suck for me.

my brother probably had all the good cards *i kept lossing no matter what*, I was being forced to play, and I didn't play all that much *i avoided any conflict with cards for a while ther after so he would not try playing with me again, i really hate my brother*.

I used to play yu-gi-oh when i was small, and pokemon when I was real small *when it was first comming out*, there where fun and i bet magic could be just as fun, i loved out smarting my friends in yu-gi-oh with effects etc.

p.s i have a bunch of mint first edition yu-gi-oh cards, and not the cheap kind lol.

Lol you hardly need to justify yourself Tongoll, it is all about personal preferences. Some people will prefer Yugioh and some will prefer Magic. Of course there will be people that dislike both. I myself lean towards Yugioh, I like the playing style more.

I prefer Magic; my community's Yu-Gi-Oh players tend to be 10 year olds who beg their parents to buy them booster packs whenever they see some. The Magic players in my area are actually really cool.

Lol to be honest that is the same reason I got more interested in Yu-Gi-Oh. I liked the Yu-Gi-Oh community where I live quite a bit. My old room mate is into it, he came 2nd at New Zealand's capital.

Favorite Colors: Blue mainly, then either green or black.
Favorite Blocks: Mirrodin. Though, Urza and Onslaught have a lot I like.
Favorite Style: Control...always. Hate playing burn.
Favorite Block: Casual vintage and extended.
Other: I've never played in a tourney or draft.

I prefer Yu-Gi-Oh, mainly because I A) grew up watching the shows/playing cards with the other kids at school, B) they're easily obtainable here, and C) I actually know how to play.

Favourite Attributes/Types: I tend to like Earth/Fire types, and for the most part Dragon and Dinosaurs. Though at the moment I'm kicking it with a souped-up cyber deck.
Favourite Style: At the moment it's powering up my favourite monster as much as possible. I figured out a possible way of getting over half a million attack... Just looked it up and it won't work, as it requires a banned card, but I can still make 128000.
Other: I duel on MSN, though I suck at it, hahaha. But yeah, hit me up if any of y'all want to duel.

(Everything is with the first being the most important ;) )

For Magic the Gathering.

Favorite Colors: Black, Blue
Favorite Blocks: Urza Block (Urza's Saga), Rath Cycle (Tempest)
Favorite Style: Black Sui, Land D., Control
Favorite Block: T1, Extended
Other: My main deck is a T1 Black Sui (running Necropotence, Phyrexian Negators, Dauthi Slayers, etc), but I also have a couple of decks that I've made for fun and also play pretty competitively, such as my Slivers, my Land D., Blue rush, White weenie, etc etc. :D I have not played magic for a while though :/

For Yu-Gi-Oh.

Favorite Attributes & Types: Dark
Favorite Style: Aggro, Control
Other: Most of the decks that I have made have been aggro decks, but my current running deck is a dark toolbox, featuring cards such as Mystic Tomatoes, Don Zaloog, and Strike Ninja. I haven't really updated the deck, and this deck pretty much gets pwn3d by my friend's monarch decks and stuff. oh well. :/

You could also move the MTG profiles as well. Also, I never heard such thing as "red, blue, etc etc" for YuGiOh. Attributes are "Light, Dark, Fire, Water, Earth, Wind", along the monster types which are big enough that some have even sub-kinds... and then let's not get into archetypes.

Favourite artribute: None.
Play Style: Defensive.
Deck name: Darklightsworn damage
Deck description: Contains Ligthsworn, suicide earth-type monsters, as well as dark-themed controlling monsters. Traps and magic cards are well-settled.
Card collection:

Quote

play almost any card for little to nothing makes Yu-Gi-Oh boring
Pay 1000 Lifepoints to activate this trap. Deny the activation of a trap card.

Discard 1 card from your hand to activate this trap. Deny the activation of a magic card.

Pay 800 Lifepoints to activate this magic card. Take the control of one for your opponent's monster for this turn.

FLIP: Discard 3 cards from the top of your deck and deal 800 Lifepoint damage to your opponent's Lifepoints.

Destroy 2 monsters on your field to deal 1000 Lifepoint damage to your opponent's lifepoints. This card can't attack this turn.

Discard 5 cards from your hand. Destroy all cards from the field.

When a monster is normal summonned, flip summonned, or special summonned, destroy all the monsters on the field.

Discard 1 card from your hand. Destroy all face-up monsters.

Magic:
You can't lose, and your opponent can't win.

Favorite Attributes & Types: I <3 quirky creatures.
Favorite Style: Combo/Aggro; I play a 1-turn-kill Crystal Beats deck that can either kill a faster deck through Crystal Overflow (rough translation; in german it's "Krystallüberfluss" and nukes the field if I have 4 crystal beasts in my spell zone, then reanimates my guys) after their aggressions continue, or swing for the kill against a slower deck with very fast plays (3x 1800ATK turn one). And if all else fails, there's Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunders for the quick, 4000ATK turnaround.
Other: I also played a water deck. Would've ruled if Gravity Bind wasn't limited.

Favorite Attributes & Types: Fire
Favorite Style: Combo/Aggro; Patrician of Darkness, which I use to direct my opponents attacks to whatever face-down travesty I feel like. I also break out three Solar Flare Dragons when I get the chance in order to decimate your lifepoints.
Other: I also use a fairy deck that involves stalling you into oblivion. It's rock solid.
